Open Farm Sunday (Sun 17th June)

On Sunday 17th June, farms across the country will be welcoming the public as LEAF coordinates a National Farm Open Day.

As part of our commitment to the event, we'll be conducting tours of the Farm by trailer to give adults and kids alike an insight into the management of the farm. This event takes in much more of the Farms' work than we cover in our Lambing Live days, and it's well worth coming to even if you visited us in April.

The tours are free of charge, but places must be pre-booked by calling the Estate Office on 01386 725 111.

The trailers will leave from The Close, opposite the Village Hall, in the centre of Overbury, and will take in various aspects of the farm and the stunning views. There will an opportunity to talk about the woodland and parkland management, wildlife and the sheep flock.

This year, visitors will be able to take part in a pollinator survey, results from which will be collated nationally to give a clear picture of how well these vital insects are doing.

We expect that the tour will take approximately 1h 30mins. Booking is essential (and this is always incredibly popular so book early).

Please contact the Estate Office on 01386 725 111 to book your place or email [email protected]
