Exploring the countryside

The children have been out and about today exploring the lovely countryside that surrounds Overbury. Well done to the children who walked 1.5 km on their travels today.

Whilst out walking we saw the tractor busy helping with the harvest.

We saw the sheep in the fields enjoying the  sunshine.

The cows and their calves enjoy roaming the fields, eating the lush grass and mooing at passers by.

We stopped off at the kitchen gardens to see what was growing, this tomato was very big and juicy.

We also found a long cucumber, we had to search under the leaves to see where it was growing.

On the way back we collected some natural resources to use in our creations at nursery.
