Photography out and about

The children spent the day out and about taking photographs of interesting things they found. They then returned to the nursery to draw pictures of what they had photographed.

Cameras help children to view the world in a more creative and scientific way, so many thought processes can be developed in line with the early years foundation stage

The children were given access to a variety of cameras and shown how to use them correctly.

The children were encouraged to look for interesting things in their surroundings and take photographs to assist recall back at the nursery.

The children have some beautiful views to stir their creativity.

As well as the local wildlife stopping by to say hello.

One of the cameras had a special feature which allowed them to take photographs of very small things up close.
