Exploring Winter

The children have been out and about exploring in the local community looking for signs of Winter.

The children wrapped up in their warm clothes and headed out to explore.

They discovered the water trough that had frozen overnight. Great fun was had lifting out the ice and crushing it under foot.

We then discovered a lovely big muddy puddle to splash and squelch in. We helped each other if we got stuck.

The children also kept their eyes open to see what they could see. We found feathers on the ground.

And had lots of fun in the fallen leaves.

Children love to be out in all weathers, as long as they have the right clothing, and it is beneficial to their health and development. For more information click here
