British Wool Week

We had fun during British Wool Week, learning about what the sheep's wool is used for and spotting the sheep in the fields on our walks.

For a display in Kemerton church last month we made individual double-sided sheep - with wool from Overbury sheep on one side and cutting up coloured knitting wool for the other side.

During British Wool Week we examined more of the Overbury sheep's wool with our magnifying glasses.

In sociable, 'working together' activities we created two big sheep for a nursery display to underline where the wool for our clothes and carpets comes from.
