The snow may have caused problems on the roads, grown ups worrying about getting to and from work, but if you are under five it's just sooooo exciting!!

The children waited until all of their friends had arrived at nursery, then wrapped up in appropriate outdoor clothes they were able to really enjoy the snow.

While some children took time

to explore the snow closely

and the changes it made

to their familiar toys.

But not surprisingly the favourite occupation in the snow was making snowballs and Jenny and Sharron were the favourite targets!! Then we all went inside and had toast and warm milk for snack to thaw us out!!
