We like to think we are a very 'outdoors nursery' and even though we spent as much time putting on our waterproofs, scarves, hats and gloves as we did playing outside we have had great fun enjoying this winter's extreme weather.
After having a good run round in it, we found just enough snow in the first snowfall after Christmas to make a snowman. But with the second snowfall there was enough for sledging, enjoyed by young and old!!
When all of the snow had finally melted we experienced some blustery conditions and one morning found that something had changed in our orchard so we went out to explore!
We discovered that one of the fruit trees had been blown down, but the good news was that this gave us an opportunity to see the roots and find out much more about how trees grow!
