New to daily routine!

'Helper of the Day' and 'Show and Tell' have become popular additions to the children's daily routine.

The children are responding really well to being helper of the day, working to earn the honour and very proud to take home their sticker and certificate.

One child is chosen from each group, for good tidying, being kind or polite etc. (although do have a chart and endeavour to make sure each person has a turn!) The helper  gets to choose a song or story at group time, and  hands out placemats, bowls and cups.

The older children are becoming confident to speak in a group with the regular ‘show and tell’, it is proving a good tool for planning for 'Communication and Language', both speaking and listening.

The younger children also use prompts brought in from home to develop their language with key workers and smaller informal groups.
