This year the school children were at school for Pancake Day (it often falls in half term). The older nursery children were invited across to school to have a race of their own!
Some of the children were a little reluctant at first,

The older the children, the more complicated the course!
The nursery children know lots of the school children from After School club and liked cheering their favourites.
This has been our first event at school this year, the close links help the nursery children get used to 'big school' and make the transition later in the year much easier!
