The children each chose a bowl to mix their bird food in.
They then cut some lard into pieces to provide fat for the birds.
Next we added some wild bird seed and mixed it really well.
Then we rolled it into balls and put it in the fridge to chill. (Our hands had made the lard very soft)
We then went into the garden and put some of the food balls onto the bird table. now we have to wait and see who comes to visit.
