Waitangi Day is New Zealand's national day, celebrated on 6th February. We have 2 families with New Zealand backgrounds and this year they helped us celebrate. This year the school children were at school for Pancake Day (it often falls in half term). The older nursery children were invited across to school to have a race of their own! On Monday 1st February a group of 2, 3 and 4 year olds enjoyed a tractor and trailer ride up to Park Farm to see the sheep shearing.
