Today the children put on their wellingtons and their all in ones to go on a number bear hunt in the woods.

The children didn't let a bit of rain stop their fun and they set off looking for puddles.

A lorry arrived with a delivery of sand to fill up our newly re-sited sandpit. How would we get the sand to the sand pit? How long would it take us? How heavy is the sand? So many questions that need answers!

The children have spent a lovely morning in the garden playing with water...... As well as the obvious fun that the children have enjoyed they have also been learning about construction, water flow, space and measure, mathematical terms such as full and empty as well as supporting each other.

The children have been reading the story of the very hungry caterpillar.

The children have been making their own decorations to adorn the tree they chose.

The children made a special cake today.

The preschool children ventured out for a walk today to look for conkers.
