The children have been celebrating food this week during British food fortnight with a visit from Jack and Tom, the chefs at the Yew tree pub in Conderton. 

The children have had lots of fun this week decorating and carving pumpkins, using clay, baking and dressing up

Great excitement at nursery today as 5 little pigs have arrived in their new home. 

The children have been visiting Sarah and Judith at the estates kitchen garden today as we have been talking about sensory smell and taste.

The children have been out and about exploring in the local community looking for signs of Winter.

The children have been celebrating Halloween by dressing up, playing party games and walking around the village collecting treats. 

The children who will be leaving grasshoppers for school were very excited as we celebrated their learning journey with  a picnic party.

The rain stayed off long enough for the children to take part in an Overbury tradition of dancing around the Maypole. Overbury First school students helped Grasshoppers to overcome their nerves and take part in the first dance. 

The children have been busy helping to raise money for children in need, we have been talking about children who aren't as lucky as we are. 

Today the children have taken part in outdoor classroom day. We have been out walking using our senses to discover in our surroundings.
