It was a beautiful evening for our leavers picnic.
Today the children have taken their fruit and vegetable peelings to the new composter.
We have been very busy this week, we had a visit from some lambs, we made a bug hotel, we set up a vegetable shop and planted beanstalks following an interest in Jack and the beanstalk.
The children have been busy this week litter picking around the nursery and visiting the lambs in the surrounding fields.
The children have had lots of fun this week decorating the Easter tree outside the Church and looking for Easter eggs.
This week our children have been exploring. The babies have been interested in the feely bags and toddlers have been out looking for the rainbow fish.
Its been a busy couple of weeks at nursery with the first signs of Spring erupting all around us and lots of children welcoming new baby brothers and sisters.
The children were very excited when they woke up to find it had snowed. This prompted conversations about how animals and in particular birds would find food.

Just for fun the children were invited to wear their pyjamas or onesies and have crazy hair over the course of the week. Our topic this week has been looking at different vehicles and the people who use them.
