The children have been raising money for Children in need by dressing up in their pyjamas and selling cakes. We have managed to raise over £150.00 thanks to the generosity of the parents.

On our walks in late Winter/early Spring (all protected from the elements in our outdoor clothing)... ... we have found there are always flowers to look out for. The 3 and 4 year olds took out Winter/Spring flower spotter sheets and managed to find all of the flowers on them - snowdrops, daffodils and primroses. They learn so much about nature...

Waitangi Day is New Zealand's national day, celebrated on 6th February. We have 2 families with New Zealand backgrounds and this year they helped us celebrate. Ella Rose enjoyed showing everyone her mum's moari artefacts including a 'tiki'   http://www.maori.info/maori_tiki.htm and a stuffed owl which made the authentic 'more pork' sound...
