Hot Cross Buns were the order of the day on Monday this week, when we held a baking day as one of our special Holiday Club sessions.
Suzanne, Ruth and Christine rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in with the children, who all had a great time talking about and measuring the ingredients. They each took 6 hot cross buns home with them to share with their lucky families.
Our next Holiday Club event will be another Baking Day on Monday 2nd April.
The first day was very successful, and we’re looking forward to seeing even more children next week.
Suzanne Marler will be leading the session again, and this time we’ll be making Hot Cross Buns.
Spaces are limited, but we can still squeeze another two or three children in tomorrow.
The snow may have caused problems on the roads, grown ups worrying about getting to and from work, but if you are under five it’s just sooooo exciting!!
