We are going on a bear hunt

The children put on their waterproofs and set off on a bear hunt.

We walked through the long wavy grass, swishy, swashy, swishy, swashy. We walked to the river (the stream) but there was no water so we were able to cross it easily. Next we found the thick mud squelch, squerch

We squelched through the mud to the dark forest stumble trip stumble trip

We didn't have any snow but it was very cold and the wind was blowing Hooooo Wooooooo

We hunted high and low for the bear, then found him hiding in a tree.

After all that hard work, we stopped for a snack in the woods, before heading back to nursery and the warm.
