British Food Fortnight

The children have been celebrating food this week during British food fortnight with a visit from Jack and Tom, the chefs at the Yew tree pub in Conderton. 

The children have been learning how to make pizza with Jack and Tom

The children made the dough using wheat, from the Overbury estate farm that we milled a couple of weeks ago, and yogurt. Tom and Jack helped them to prepare the dough and add the tomato sauce. 

The children then added their chosen toppings. These included cheese and pepperoni. 

We placed them on a baking tray ready for the oven.
