We enjoyed a wonderful evening together in the Court Gardens, reflecting on the children's time at nursery and celebrating everything they have achieved. Families gathered for a special picnic, complete with some delicious homemade ice cream, creating a lovely opportunity to share memories and mark this important milestone.
The children had a fantastic time playing with their friends, exploring the beautiful gardens, and taking part in a fun picture hunt to find the photographs that had been carefully hidden around on trees and in the long grass. It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying a relaxed family picnic surrounded by fellow leavers, staff, and the picturesque setting of the gardens.
During the previous week, the children had been busy creating their own mortarboards, which they proudly wore as they were presented with a special keepsake gift from the Grasshoppers team. Seeing them wearing their handmade hats made them look very grown up and was a lovely way to celebrate their achievements before they move on to school.
Over the years, it has been a privilege to watch each of our leavers grow in confidence, develop new skills, build lasting friendships, and become independent learners. They have brought so much joy, laughter, curiosity, and enthusiasm to nursery, and we are incredibly proud of everything they have accomplished.
Although they will be greatly missed by both the children and staff, we know they are ready for the exciting adventures that lie ahead. We wish each and every one of our school leavers the very best of luck as they start this new chapter. We hope they continue to learn, explore, make wonderful memories, and shine as brightly as they have during their time with us. Congratulations to all of our amazing leavers—we are so proud of you!
