Our toddlers have been on a Spring flower walk, looking for signs that Spring is on its way. They saw daffodils, crocuses, buds on trees and the grass getting longer.
The children have enjoyed some still life painting using the lovely daffodil as their inspiration.
Also this week we found ice in the garden after a very cold night. The ice was frozen into a variety of shapes.
Once the sun had thawed the ground we went digging for worms and insects.
The benefits of spending time outside are well documented and what better way to spend a few hours after the darkness of Winter, looking for signs of Spring.
