Billy, the chef from the estate, came to visit with his milling machine to show the children how to turn wheat into flour. The flour had been combined by Farmer Jake and his team. The children enjoyed scooping the grain into the mill and watching it come out as flour.
When the flour was milled we used it to make biscuits so we could taste the whole grain flour we hade made.
