This week the preschool children have helped to make a scarecrow to keep the birds away from the fruit and vegetables.
The children designed the face for the scarecrow so the birds would keep away.
We think you will agree he is pretty scary.
The children then had a look around the garden to see all the new plants that are starting to grow, including courgettes, tomatoes, potatoes, beans and peas.
Children who are interested in gardening at an early age often go on to lead a healthy lifestyle when grown up. It also encourages children to try new foods when they have had a hand in the growth and harvest. To learn more about gardening with your child click here.
