We talked about finding a tree that was just right, and decided that Ali was the perfect helper to check the height and make sure our tree wasn’t too big or too small.
The children explored the plantation, searching high and low for the perfect tree. Some were too tall, some were too thin, and others were too bushy! After a little while, we discovered one that looked absolutely perfect. Ali stood next to it to measure, and everyone agreed this was the one to take back to nursery.
We headed back up the lane and waited while Derek carefully cut the tree down with his saw. Then it was time to get back onto the trailer for the bumpy ride home!
We’re all very excited to decorate our beautiful Christmas tree later this afternoon.
