This morning, the whole nursery climbed back aboard the tractor trailer and set off to visit Farmer Jake at Park Farm as part of our new topic on farm animals. The journey up the hill was very bumpy, which made it all the more exciting!

Last week, some of our Squirrels and Hedgehogs children enjoyed a very special adventure as we travelled by tractor trailer to visit the beautiful Bluebell Woods. The journey itself was lots of fun — the tractor ride was quite bumpy, which caused plenty of giggles and excitement along the way!

The Hedgehogs and Squirrels had lots of fun learning about oral health and the importance of keeping our teeth clean and healthy.

We have had a brilliant day celebrating World Book Day at nursery today with a truly magical, book-themed adventure from start to finish!

This week the Grasshoppers children have been learning about St David's Day and exploring why it is such a special celebration in Wales.

Despite the recent wet weather, it hasn’t stopped us from heading outside to enjoy the fresh air! As an all weather nursery, we firmly believe there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing! 

The children have been busy exploring the wonderful world of birds through the story ‘Owl Babies’ and a variety of hands-on activities.

This week our nursery children have been immersing themselves in the much-loved story The Gruffalo’s Child, and it has inspired a wide range of exciting activities across the nursery.

This morning, we were delighted to welcome the children and staff from Overbury First School into the nursery for a festive visit. They brought plenty of Christmas cheer with them as they sang a selection of carols, before continuing on their way around the village.

On Monday, the children arrived in their cosy Christmas PJs and had a wonderful time joining in with a fun, festive PJ PE adventure delivered by Sprint Active.
